A leading top 50 AM Law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 4–5 years of experience to join its Miami office.


This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation Practice Group, handling complex business disputes across state and federal courts. Responsibilities


  • Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
  • Conduct and manage written and document discovery
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
  • Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony
  • Appear for status conferences and argue motions
  • Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations
  • Assist with trial preparation and case strategy
  • Work closely with partners and clients on high-value business disputes


Qualifications


  • 4–5 years of business or commercial litigation experience
  • Strong experience in state and federal court litigation
  • Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
  • Exposure to trial preparation and settlement negotiations preferred
  • Federal court clerkship experience is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
