A 13-lawyer boutique firm with an emphasis on commercial litigation with offices in the Loop is seeking to hire a 3rd to 7th year litigation associate. The position will involve participation in all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to court appearances, depositions, trial work and significant client contact, on a variety of commercial disputes. The associate will work closely, typically one on one, with the partners of the firm in prosecuting and defending commercial disputes in both state and federal courts. Prior litigation experience is required although experience in commercial litigation while desired is not required. The firm promotes a healthy work-life balance and cooperative culture.
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. The final offered salary will take several factors into consideration, including but not limited to: work experience, education, certifications, licensure, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more. Annual discretionary bonus depending on firm financial performance and individual's performance.
