A leading AmLaw-ranked law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its dynamic Litigation Group in Dallas. This is a full-time, partnership-track opportunity offering exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters in both state and federal courts.


This role is ideal for attorneys looking to build deep litigation experience within a nationally recognized platform while working closely with seasoned trial lawyers on complex disputes.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze, research, and draft briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues

• Handle motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and class certification motions

• Assist with writs and appellate matters

• Participate in trial preparation and court appearances

• Take and defend depositions

• Manage case strategy and litigation timelines

• Collaborate closely with partners and litigation teams on complex disputes


Qualifications:

✔ 1–4 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting

✔ Strong experience drafting motions and complex legal briefs

✔ Trial preparation and court appearance experience preferred

✔ Experience taking and defending depositions

✔ Strong academic credentials

✔ Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills

✔ Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and take ownership of matters

✔ Admitted to the Texas Bar

💰 Compensation: $225,000–$310,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, market factors, and internal equity, plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
