Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A well-established and growing law firm in Edison, NJ is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on responsibility, client interaction, and long-term growth within a collaborative firm environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and dispositive briefs
• Manage all phases of discovery, including depositions and written discovery
• Appear in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey
• Work directly with clients and provide strategic litigation counsel
• Collaborate with partners and junior attorneys on complex matters

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Active New Jersey Bar admission (NY admission a plus)
• Strong experience handling cases independently
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Prior experience in state and federal court required
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset

• The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
