Position Overview

This position supports business clients by managing service needs tied to a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The focus is on maintaining strong relationships, delivering consistent support, and identifying ways to enhance coverage as client needs evolve. This role contributes to long-term retention and account growth.

Core Duties

  • Coordinate renewal cycles, including reviewing coverage, exploring alternative options, and updating internal records
  • Handle billing-related responsibilities, including client payments and premium financing coordination
  • Maintain accurate client account details such as policy updates, coverage changes, and pricing adjustments
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional insurance solutions that align with client needs
  • Process policy changes including endorsements, cancellations, and updates in a timely manner
  • Prepare and issue proof of coverage documents and fulfill related third-party requests
  • Review underwriting communications and follow up to resolve outstanding items
  • Communicate regularly with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure service expectations are met

Background & Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in account support, client service, insurance, or a related field
  • Active Property & Casualty license required (state-specific)
  • Experience with commercial insurance is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of insurance coverages, underwriting processes, and policy servicing
  • Strong client service and relationship management skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, agency platforms, and Microsoft Office
