CNC Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to set up and run CNC work centers, Lathes (Mori-Seiki Y axis a plus).
• Must be able to develop & write programs for the CNC lathe, working from prints, CAPS (Mori) a plus.
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to ASTM standards.
• Must be able to edit existing programs as necessary.
• Must be capable of input programs into CNC from PC.
• Must maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Must monitor tools during operation for wear and breakage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 3+ years of experience with CNC Lathe machines
• Must have use of reading micrometers & other inspection equipment.
