Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking individuals who are mechanically inclined or have previous manufacturing experience. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to train you. The role involves performing layout assembly and ideally soldering of wires. You will be provided with drawings and work instructions to assemble products such as cable harnesses, thermocouples, sensors, and satellite heaters.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings
  • Utilize hand tools effectively
  • Follow work instructions for assembly
  • Perform electronic wire assembly
  • Demonstrate dependability and good communication skills
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read work orders
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience in assembly or soldering
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • 3 months or more of assembly experience
  • Ability to utilize hand tools
  • Ability to read drawings

Work Environment

Work in a clean and fairly quiet environment with over 100 employees in the facility. You have the flexibility to stand or sit during assembly, and headphones are allowed. The production atmosphere includes about 36 assemblers who report to the production supervisor. You will have autonomy in your work, with the primary goal of meeting production targets.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Branford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
