Cleanroom Cleaner

The Cleanroom Cleaner maintains a highly sanitary and orderly facility, with a special focus on cleanroom environments that must meet strict ISO standards. This role involves performing routine and detailed cleaning tasks throughout the building, managing cleaning supplies, and supporting a safe, organized, and professional workplace.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Clean restrooms and offices thoroughly, ensuring all surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas remain sanitary.
• Clean interior and exterior windows to maintain clear, streak-free glass surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash cans throughout the facility, including offices, restrooms, cleanrooms, and common areas.
• Manage and monitor cleaning supply inventory, ensuring that necessary products and tools are stocked and available.
• Maintain the cleanliness of cleanroom environments in accordance with ISO regulations and internal standards.
• Clean breakrooms, including mopping and sweeping floors, wiping cabinets, cleaning counters, and removing trash.
• Clean out the refrigerator on a weekly basis, including disposing of old items and wiping down interior surfaces.
• Stock and supply designated facility areas with necessary items such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
• Dust surfaces such as furniture, fixtures, and ceiling vents to reduce dust accumulation and maintain air quality.
• Promote a positive and professional image through reliable performance and respectful interactions.
• Assist with other related cleaning and facility support duties as needed to support overall operations.
• Communicate and work effectively with management to address cleaning needs, priorities, and any issues that arise.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as needed for cleaning tasks.
• Experience performing general cleaning and janitorial duties in a facility setting.
• Capability to maintain cleanroom environments in alignment with ISO cleanliness standards.
• Strong general labor skills, including stamina for physical work and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with management and team members.
• Reliability and consistency in completing assigned tasks and following cleaning schedules.

• Previous experience working as a cleaner, janitor, or in a similar custodial role.
• Familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals and supplies safely.
• Ability to organize work, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Willingness to assist with additional duties and adapt to changing cleaning needs across the facility.

Work Environment

This role is highly active and requires comfort with walking and standing throughout the day while performing cleaning tasks across the facility. The position involves working in a cleanroom environment that must meet ISO standards, as well as in offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. The schedule may include coming in on Saturdays as needed to support operational requirements. You will use standard cleaning tools and supplies such as mops, brooms, vacuums, cleaning solutions, and dusting equipment in an indoor facility setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Placentia,CA.
