Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Civil Litigation Associate based in Lexington, MA. The role involves handling diverse civil litigation cases, drafting and arguing motions, conducting legal research, preparing and attending depositions, and representing clients in court. The Civil Litigation Associate will work closely with partners and clients, actively contributing to case strategy and advocacy efforts.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years experience in civil litigation.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions with a detail-oriented approach.
• Expertise in legal research and the ability to analyze statutes, regulations, and case law effectively.
• Experience in conducting depositions and preparing detailed summaries.
• Familiarity with court procedures and etiquette, as well as the ability to represent clients effectively in court.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to practice law in Massachusetts is REQUIRED; additional admission to practice in New Hampshire is a plus.
