Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Important: This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Celebration, Florida office. Remote work is not available for this role.

Widerman Malek, PL is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our team in our Celebration, Florida office. This role focuses primarily on civil litigation matters, with cases spanning multiple practice areas, including business litigation, estate planning and probate disputes, and real estate matters. The position is ideal for an attorney ready to take on meaningful responsibility, managing and supporting civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, with regular client interaction and close collaboration with experienced attorneys across the firm.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Conducting legal research and preparing written analysis
• Participating in hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
• Working collaboratively with attorneys and staff across practice areas

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Florida Bar admission in good standing
• A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service
