NOW HIRING: Civil / Structural Consulting Engineer (PE)

A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer (PE) to investigate construction defects, structural failures, property damage, and building performance issues.

This role combines field investigation, structural analysis, and expert reporting for insurance carriers, attorneys, and private clients. You’ll conduct site inspections, determine cause and origin of structural damage, evaluate code compliance, and produce clear, defensible engineering reports.

Requirements

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• PE License required (SC preferred or ability to obtain)
• 8+ years structural engineering experience
• Background in building design, construction, or structural analysis

Highly Valued

• Forensic engineering or insurance investigation experience
• Knowledge of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry systems
• Building code interpretation and structural analysis
