We’re partnering with an innovative organization in the aerospace & defense / advanced simulation space to identify a strategic and execution-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO).
This executive will play a critical role in scaling operations, driving program delivery, and building a high-performance organization across engineering, manufacturing, and customer programs.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead day-to-day operations across engineering, manufacturing, program management, supply chain, and quality
• Drive operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of complex, engineered systems
• Partner with executive leadership to improve margins, forecasting, and performance metrics
• Strengthen supply chain operations and manufacturing efficiency in a high-mix environment
• Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering cross-functional collaboration
• Serve as a key executive interface for customers and strategic partners
What We’re Looking For:
• 15+ years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, or complex engineered systems
• Proven success in a senior operations role (COO, VP of Operations, or similar)
• Strong background in program execution, supply chain, and manufacturing operations
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., ISO, AS9100, FAA, DoD)
• A hands-on, data-driven leader with a strong bias for execution
