Linedata (Euronext Paris: LIN), the global solutions and outsourcing services provider to the investment management and credit finance industries) is seeking a strategic and operationally strong Chief Financial Officer to lead finance for North America and support the Asset Management business line. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for scaling finance operations, driving performance, and acting as a key partner to senior leadership in shaping business strategy and growth.


Role Overview

The CFO will oversee all financial activities across the North America region while partnering closely with global leadership to support the Asset Management business line. This role combines strategic finance, business partnership, and hands-on financial leadership, ensuring strong financial governance while enabling growth and operational excellence.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, bringing financial insight into decision-making across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Business partnership

  • Act as a strategic partner to regional and global leadership,
  • Support Business in the performance analysis and decision making processes.
  • Ensure that processes implemented are well respected and applied by the business and support functions
  • Drive alignment between financial strategy and overall business objectives


Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) (Planning & reporting engine)

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for North America Asset Management
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecasting cycles
  • Define and monitor KPIs across revenue, margin, and operational performance
  • Establish a structured monthly and quarterly performance cadence


Commercial & Revenue Performance

  • Partner with business leaders to drive revenue growth and margin expansion
  • Lead pricing strategy and deal structuring to ensure profitability and risk discipline
  • Oversee contract economics, including profitability by client, product, and engagement
  • Evaluate pipeline quality and conversion to revenue, ensuring realistic forecasting


Treasury & Working Capital Management

  • Own liquidity planning, including cash flow forecasting and cash management
  • Manage working capital performance, including DSO, DPO, billing, and collections
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee cash controls and payment governance


Financial Operations & Controllership

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Maintain robust accounting & reporting policies
  • Ensure general ledger integrity and proper maintenance of financial records


Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Lead audit processes and manage relationships with auditors
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements


Systems & Data Ownership

  • Define and execute the finance systems roadmap in alignment with group strategy
  • Ensure data integrity
  • Drive automation and digitization of finance processes
  • Enhance data accessibility to support real-time decision-making


Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team across FP&A and accounting
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen organizational capability through talent development and succession planning


Global Collaboration

  • Partner with global finance and business leaders to support Asset Management initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with group-level financial policies, reporting standards, and controls
  • Act as a key interface between regional and global finance teams


Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in finance, with significant leadership experience in a global organization
  • Strong background across corporate finance, FP&A, and controllership of business units in listed company environment
  • Proven ability to operate as both a strategic finance leader and hands-on operator
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, audit, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing external relationships (auditors, tax advisors, regulators)
  • Demonstrated success scaling finance operations and improving processes
  • Experience operating within a publicly listed company environment and maintaining high-quality financial standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
