C#/Angular Developer

A financial firm is looking for a C#/Angular Developer to join their team in New York, NY.


Compensation: $300-350K

5x onsite in NYC; Must be local

Must have both strong C# and Angular (No React)


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users and technical peers to build and automate new workflows and processes.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end solutions, including front-end, back-end, and deployment aspects.
  • Develop and support in-house reporting services for both external and internal deliverables.
  • Review and optimize downstream/upstream data workflows and API solutions for the platform.
  • Manage releases and provide production support for products and applications within the team.
  • Support daily review of risk reports generated across multiple financial products.
  • Provide quantitative production support for the desk.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; finance certification preferred.
  • Mid to senior-level experience (typically 7–12 years), but open to high-achieving candidates with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Hands-on web development experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
  • Proficiency in C#/.Net, Python, and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) and web UI layout packages.
  • Experience with .Net Core framework, Node.js configuration, Docker, Azure, Git, DevOps, CI/CD, and VS Code.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Analysis Services, MS Azure Databricks, and Notebooks.
  • Strong database experience (querying, performance tuning) with SQL Server and/or multiple platforms.
  • Fluency in Excel and data analysis, particularly with fixed income pricing and risk attributes.
  • Strong background in fixed income, whole loans, or structured credit.
  • Experience working with Portfolio Management, Mortgage, MBS, CMBS, Loan datasets, or third-party risk/pricing libraries.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Intex (Bond/Loan Level Pricing/Cashflow analysis), 1010 Loan Performance, CoreLogic, and Agency Loan datasets.
  • Understanding of ABS, RMBS collateral deal performance metrics.
  • Experience leading design and resolving technical issues independently with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in financial services, private equity, hedge funds, or investment banks preferred.
  • Exposure to front office technology or financial application development preferred.
