We are seeking a Full Stack Engineering Manager with 10–14 years of experience in architecting, leading, and delivering large-scale, cloud-native .NET applications. This role combines strategic technical leadership with hands‑on engineering depth across .NET 8/9, microservices, Azure services, Angular/React, DevOps, and container platforms. As a manager, you will play a dual role:

• by owning architecture and guiding multiple engineering squads toward high‑quality, scalable, and secure solution delivery, and
• by driving engineering excellence and innovation, incorporating modern .NET advancements, cloud optimization, automation, and observability to create a high‑performing, future‑ready engineering ecosystem.

EY’s Artificial Intelligence & Automation (AIA) team is a specialized, intelligence‑driven business unit that combines advanced AI, automation engineering, and deep domain knowledge to deliver transformative enterprise solutions. The AIA practice partners with clients to analyze, design, and operationalize AI‑led automation strategies that accelerate digital transformation and unlock measurable business value. We address organizations’ most critical challenges across process optimization, intelligent workflows, data‑driven decisioning, Generative AI adoption, and automation-enabled innovation. With a unique ability to translate AI strategy into actionable architectures, scalable platforms, and production‑grade automations, EY’s AIA team helps clients build sustainable competitive advantage, enhance productivity, and navigate disruption by embedding intelligence at the core of their business and technology ecosystems.

Your key responsibilities

Product Design and Hands‑on Development

• Lead architecture and design for enterprise‑scale, cloud‑native .NET applications using .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core, Web API.
• Drive engineering excellence through performance‑optimized design using modern .NET enhancements (AOT, GC improvements, trimming, serialization optimizations).
• Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering squads, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and secure engineering guidelines.
• Challenge existing design approaches and propose modern, scalable, and cloud‑aligned solutions that optimize time‑to‑market.

.NET‑led Full Stack Development

• Demonstrate hands‑on expertise across backend (.NET 8/9, microservices, APIs), frontend (Angular/React), cloud (Azure), and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps and ensure their accurate implementation by the engineering teams.
• Guide seamless integration between frontend and backend systems ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Apply critical thinking, architectural reasoning, and strong communication to handle cross‑team technical discussions and decisions.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure engineering excellence through systematic code reviews, architectural validations, and adoption of automated testing practices.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, ensuring a robust, automated deployment and testing lifecycle.
• Establish quality benchmarks for teams and ensure proper implementation of secure coding, observability, and performance testing.

Collaboration And Support

• Partner with architects, product stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to drive secure and high‑quality solution delivery.
• Manage delivery risks, oversee estimation, track execution, and support teams across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, foster a high‑performance culture, and support continuous learning and capability building within the team.
• Facilitate technical alignment across multiple workstreams, ensuring consistency of patterns, frameworks, and engineering approaches.

Required Skills

• 10–14 years of experience in .NET development with deep hands‑on knowledge of .NET 6+, .NET 8, .NET 9, C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and Web API.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services such as Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, API Management, Key Vault.
• Proficiency in Angular or React, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering patterns.
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams (10–25 developers) across multiple technical tracks.
• Understanding of containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud container platforms like Azure Container Apps.
• Knowledge of distributed tracing, observability frameworks, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to emerging .NET 10 capabilities including C# 13, enhanced AOT, and upcoming AI‑driven tooling.
• Experience with Blazor United or hybrid rendering models.
• Knowledge of ML.NET, ONNX Runtime, or vector‑based inference optimizations.

Education:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
