Business Intelligence Analyst I

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst who will be responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support business decision‑making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities and deep hands‑on experience with Power BI, Splunk, Looker Studio and Google Analytics.

This role requires someone who can work with cross‑functional teams, interpret data from multiple sources, build dashboards, identify trends, and support both operational and strategic analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports to support business insights.
  • Use Splunk to analyze system logs, monitor application performance, build dashboards, and support operational intelligence.
  • Leverage Google Analytics (GA4) to track digital engagement, user behavior, conversion performance, and web/mobile analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical outputs.
  • Identify data trends, anomalies, and insights that help guide decision‑making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across reporting sources.
  • Support ad‑hoc analysis requests as needed to answer key business questions.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for analytics reporting issues, data discrepancies, and tracking-related challenges.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining processes, data collection methodologies, and cross‑functional dependencies.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power BI, Splunk, Looker Studio and Google Analytics (essential).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience in digital analytics, operational analytics, and customer behavior analytics.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • A detail‑oriented, curious, and proactive analyst.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range

$77,700 - $135,300
