Our client in the Oil & Gas industry is hiring a Business Development Representative in Houston, TX. This role focuses on supporting trucking and commercial operations while helping grow and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer onboarding and trucking setup, including documentation and compliance
- Partner with operations, engineering, accounting, and business development teams
- Support account management efforts and initiatives to increase trucked volumes
- Assist with pricing support, proposals, and contract coordination
- Track market activity and support business development opportunities
- Attend client meetings and industry networking events as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in oil & gas, midstream, or industrial environments preferred
- Experience supporting customer accounts, operations, or business development teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working with internal systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Able to adapt in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
