Business Development Manager

Based in the heart of Silicon Valley, Amlogic is a $5B fabless semiconductor company with operations in more than 10 countries worldwide and counts leading global brands as its customers.

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Business Development professional to join our U.S. Business Development team. The person will be responsible for promoting Amlogic solutions to and locking designs with major OEMs.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Business Development professionals, as well as strong FAEs, TPMs, or Marketing professionals to grow into a business role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships with major OEM customers and ecosystems to identify and capture growth opportunities.
• Identify key decision makers within customer engineering, executive team, purchasing team and establish relationships respectively, achieve design-ins and design-wins.
• Provide customer inputs to internal stakeholders to shape company’s solution roadmaps.
• Conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities in segments such as smart home, automotive, telecom operators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong technical background in SoCs, embedded systems, multimedia, and/or connectivity technologies.
• Prior experience in the semiconductor, embedded system and/or software is required.
• 5+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Understanding of competitive dynamics and strategies of key industry players, technical and other differentiated capabilities required to win key clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

The annual base salary range for this position is $127,160 - $239,200. Please note that the final base salary will be determined based on the candidate’s overall qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
