Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of experience in automotive sales, business development, or account management within the engineering services industry.
  • Proven experience working with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers in the North American market.
  • Demonstrated success in selling engineering services, product engineering solutions, or digital engineering engagements.
  • Strong track record of closing mid-to-large scale deals and consistently achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Solid understanding of automotive engineering domains including vehicle systems, embedded software, electrification, connectivity, and digital transformation.
  • Strong commercial negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and customer engagements involving cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at executive and engineering leadership levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven sales reporting.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–30% based on customer and business requirements.


Position Overview

The Business Development Professional will play a critical role in driving new business growth and expanding strategic customer relationships within the automotive ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new engineering service opportunities with automotive OEMs and Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers across the Americas.


The ideal candidate will possess strong industry relationships, a deep understanding of automotive engineering services, and a proven ability to develop and close complex engineering engagements. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional customer engagement skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across technical and delivery organizations to create differentiated customer solutions.
