Biomanufacturing Technician

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician supports day-to-day production activities in a regulated pharmaceutical or biomedical manufacturing environment. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), completing documentation, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations such as weighing, mixing, filling, assembly, or packaging according to approved procedures
• Operate, clean, and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools
• Follow GMP, SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times
• Accurately complete batch records, logs, and production documentation
• Perform in-process checks and report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns
• Support line changeovers, setup, and shutdown activities
• Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area (5S)

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in science or technical field preferred)
• Minimum 2+ year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or biomedical manufacturing
• Basic understanding of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Require wearing PPE kit/gowning and working in cleanroom environments
• Experience with cleanroom or controlled environments
• Familiarity with batch records and electronic documentation systems
• Experience with manufacturing equipment troubleshooting
