Contract: 6 months | Pay Rate: $20–$22.12/hr. DOE
Shift Information
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (rotating)
- Night Shift: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM (rotating)

Training: 1st shift for 6–8 weeks (rotating schedule), then transition to 2nd shift.

Basic Summary
The Biomanufacturing Technician I is responsible for performing manufacturing activities related to the start-up and GMP production of novel cellular products. This includes compliance with regulatory agencies and associated guidelines. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays and meet the physical requirements outlined below.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain qualifications for aseptic activities
- Consistently practice cleanroom behaviors and maintain cleanroom areas
- Produce, formulate, and bank cellular products (GMP, GDP, and aseptic processing)
- Support all manufacturing activities including raw materials, cell culture, and process improvement
- Promote safety and adhere to all safety guidelines at all times
- Perform proper disinfection: empty trash, wipe equipment, mop ceilings, walls, and floors
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- Prepare cleaning/sanitation solutions and materials
- Identify and communicate material or procedural discrepancies
- Support validation efforts for manufacturing processes
- Write GMP-required documents under supervision (SOPs, product specifications, equipment specifications, batch production records)
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements (cGMPs)
- Follow SOPs
- Accurately document cleaning activities in logbooks according to GDPs
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Top Skills & Requirements
- Lab experience required
- Aseptic experience a plus
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; open to recent graduates
- Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment with PPE
- IV Process: 1 round, virtual
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a scientific field strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0–1 year of applicable experience in biotech or cell therapy
- May consider less education/experience upon successful completion of company internship program
- Ability to work with hazardous materials and medical equipment (blood, tissues, needles)
- Ability to perform algebraic math
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
