Just Legal is seeking an experience and relationship-driven attorney to lead our team's recruitment and placement of attorneys with Delaware law firms and corporate legal departments. The Attorney Placement Director works closely with clients, candidates, and our internal team to ensure a thoughtful, high-quality placement experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead attorney recruitment, interviewing, and placement for contract and lateral positions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Delaware-based law firms and corporate legal departments
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding practice area needs and firm culture
- Interview and evaluate attorney candiates
- Manage offers, placements coordination, and onboarding support
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and firm policies
- Collaborate with internal team members and contribute to company growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) required
- Active Delaware Bar license strongly preferred
- Experience practicing law, working in a law firm or legal department
- Familiarity with Delaware law firm practices and the local legal market
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Client-focused with a collaborative, professional aprroach
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based in Hockessin, Delaware; flexibility to hybrid environment
