A longstanding California boutique law firm is expanding its employment practice and searching for an experienced Employment Attorney with strong PAGA and class action expertise. With over 30 years serving licensed professionals across California, our client delivers expert legal support with compassion and integrity. The firm is highly regarded for its flexible, team-oriented culture and for providing individualized representation. Most attorneys work remotely, and the firm is open to both hybrid and fully remote arrangements.



About the Role



This role offers full remote flexibility, a low billable requirement, excellent benefits, and a collaborative culture focused on work-life balance. Candidates must be barred in California and reside in California.



Responsibilities



  • Lead PAGA and employment-related matters, including class action and single-plaintiff cases
  • Advise clients in pre-litigation negotiations and dispute resolution
  • Participate in hearings, settlements, and negotiations involving licensed professionals statewide
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys who value camaraderie, balance, and professional excellence


Qualifications



  • Minimum 5+ years PAGA/class action employment litigation experience
  • California Bar license in good standing and must reside in California
  • Admitted in the federal circuit
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and client advocacy skills
  • Commitment to client-focused service and effective legal solutions

Pay range and compensation package



  • Compensation: $175,000–$250,000 annual salary
  • Billable Hours: 1,200/year
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision (100% employee premium covered), PTO starting at 16 days/year, paid holidays, 401(k), free street parking
  • Schedule: Choose fully remote, hybrid, or onsite—your call
