A small animal hospital in Santa Clarita, California is looking to welcome a Veterinarian to its team.



Established in 2022, this purpose-built hospital combines general practice with non-life-threatening urgent care, creating a caseload that offers far more variety than a traditional daytime clinic. Open daily from 10am to 11pm, the hospital supports clients across the community with everything from routine wellness and preventative care through to same-day urgent presentations

The veterinary team currently includes 2 DVMs supported by experienced technicians, assistants, and client care professionals. The environment is collaborative and approachable, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, open communication, and ensuring veterinarians have the autonomy to make sound clinical decisions. New graduates are welcome and can expect structured mentorship alongside daily support from colleagues who enjoy teaching.


Medicine is centred around high clinical standards, thorough client communication, and building long-term relationships with pet owners. Veterinarians are encouraged to work cases up properly, take ownership of their patients, and practise in a way that reflects their own professional judgement. The combination of wellness appointments, diagnostics, medical cases, surgery, and urgent care keeps each day varied and engaging.

About you

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree eligible for licensure in California

• Licensed veterinarian in good standing or eligible to obtain licensure

• Committed to practising high-quality medicine and surgery

• Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships

• Collaborative team player who contributes positively to hospital culture

• Interested in continual professional development and learning

• Comfortable managing both routine and urgent care cases
