About the Role

As an Associate Veterinarian in Conroe, TX, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using a problem-oriented medical approach
  • Provide preventative care tailored to each patient's lifestyle and needs
  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and soft tissue surgeries
  • Perform dental procedures, including oral examinations, dental radiograph interpretation, and extractions
  • Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, ultrasound findings, and other diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Build strong relationships with clients through education and communication
  • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and hospital staff to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Participate in case discussions, rounds, and ongoing clinical development


Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Texas
  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain
  • USDA accreditation or ability to obtain after hire
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable performing anesthesia, routine surgery, and dentistry
  • Excellent communication and client-service abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality medicine

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced soft tissue surgery
  • Strong interest in dentistry and preventative medicine
  • Experience in a fast-paced general practice environment
