Position Overview:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Contract to Hire
Schedule:
- 20 hours per week to start
- Gradual ramp‑up to full‑time (40 hours per week) upon permanent conversion
Location: Fully Remote (New York‑based Client)
Pay Rate: $80–$90 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing real estate documents and agreements
- Meeting with clients and managing client communications
- Preparing pleadings and motions
- Handling discovery
- Supporting matters from intake through resolution
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active New York bar admission in good standing
- 3+ years of real estate experience (residential experience strongly preferred)
- Comfortable with drafting‑heavy workloads and client‑facing responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to grow into court appearances and expanded responsibilities
- Training can be provided, if needed
