Associate General Counsel

MB Attorney Search is partnering with a long-standing, growth-focused agribusiness platform to identify an Associate General Counsel who will effectively serve as the top legal advisor for the Kansas City operation—with direct exposure to executive leadership and a meaningful seat at the table.

This is not a siloed in-house role or overly specialized. It’s a blend of strategy + execution:

• Complex commercial contracting (core to the business).
• Regulatory and compliance advisory.
• Joint ventures and governance.
• Cross-functional partnership with operations, finance, and supply chain.

You’ll also lead a small team and help build scalable legal processes as the company continues to grow.

Compensation:

• Base in the $200K+ range.
• ~30% bonus target.
• Additional long-term incentive potential.

Location:

• Kansas City, MO (onsite).
• Strong preference for candidates with ties to the region.
