About the Opportunity

A well-established boutique personal injury firm in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing team. The firm represents clients throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia and is known for its tough, experienced, and compassionate advocacy on behalf of injury victims.

This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a high-volume environment, values autonomy, and wants meaningful courtroom experience alongside supportive, seasoned partners.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a high-volume pre-litigation caseload (approx. 250+ matters) supported by a team of 9 paralegals.
• Independently handle District Court trials.
• Support and collaborate with partners on Circuit Court litigation, including drafting motions, discovery, and attending hearings.
• Conduct client consultations, assess liability and damages, and develop strategic case plans.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Provide consistent, compassionate communication to clients throughout their case.

What You Bring

• 3–10 years of legal experience, preferably in personal injury.
• Barred in Maryland and Washington, DC (required).
• Virginia Bar admission strongly preferred.
• Experience trying cases in District Court.
• Strong communication, organization, and file‑management skills.

Compensation & Structure

• Total Compensation: $130,000–$170,000
• Base Salary: ~$105,000–$130,000
• Bonus: Approx. 5% on cases worked (~75/25 base-to-bonus split).
• Growth opportunity within a small, collaborative firm of 2 partners and 2–3 associates.
