Location: This is an on-site role based in Virginia Beach, VA.
Note: Must be admitted to practice law in Virginia. Medical malpractice defense experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Description
- Represent clients in medical malpractice defense and complex litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy, motions, discovery, and trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, discovery responses, correspondence, motions, and other legal documents
- Take and defend depositions as appropriate based on experience level
- Assist with hearings, depositions, mediations, expert work, and trial preparation
- Manage case files, deadlines, documents, and litigation calendars with strong attention to detail
- Work directly with partners and team members to evaluate facts, develop defenses, and move cases forward
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active Virginia Bar admission required
- 0+ years of litigation experience
- Medical malpractice defense, healthcare litigation, insurance defense, or civil litigation experience preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy litigation environment
- High energy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client service
