Associate Attorney

Barnes Maloney, PLLC, is a mid-sized law firm in need of an associate attorney with a focus on medical malpractice with 3-7 years of experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney based in Louisville, KY. The attorney will be responsible for representing clients in medical malpractice cases, providing legal advice, conducting research, and formulating defense strategies. Day-to-day tasks include drafting legal documents, taking depositions, and negotiating settlements. The attorney will also attend court hearings and trials.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in medical malpractice defense or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in providing Legal Advice and conducting Research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage cases
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active state bar membership in Kentucky or Indiana
