Job Description
We are hiring an Associate Attorney – Estate Planning & Probate for an on-site role in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time opportunity to work on sophisticated estate and probate matters, including high-value and taxable estates.
The role involves close collaboration with senior attorneys while handling complex estate administration, trust management, and tax-related matters. The position offers strong mentorship, hands-on experience, and long-term career growth in a well-established legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage estate planning and probate matters from start to finish
- Handle administration of taxable estates
- Prepare and review trust & estate accountings
- Draft estate planning documents and legal correspondence
- Work on estate and trust tax returns
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory support
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning and probate
- Experience handling taxable estates
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Experience with trust & estate accountings and tax filings
- Excellent client communication skills
- Active Washington State Bar license (required)
Preferred:
- LLM in Taxation
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients
