Position Overview:

The Assisatnt Controller will oversee all accounting operations for a growing oilfield services company supporting a new division. This role is responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, compliance, internal controls, and supporting operational leadership with timely, accurate financial insights. The ideal candidate has deep experience in oilfield services accounting, job costing, and managing accounting teams in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.

Qualifications:

Required

• CPA (active or inactive) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in oilfield services, energy services, construction, or asset-heavy operations
• Strong job costing and operational accounting background
• Experience managing and developing accounting staff

Preferred

• Public accounting background (Big 4 or regional firm)
