Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented ITIL Analyst (ServiceNow) to support frontline data management activities across ServiceNow and Remedy platforms. This role focuses on asset inventory accuracy, product catalog maintenance, service alignment, and data quality assurance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, foundational SQL skills, and the ability to follow data lineage across dual platforms during our transition toward a unified ServiceNow environment.

This position is well‑suited for early‑career professionals or recent graduates looking to build experience in IT service management, data operations, and enterprise platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain asset inventory records, including creation, updates, and attribute changes across ServiceNow and Remedy.
  • Support product catalog management, including onboarding new products and ensuring catalog content meets stringent standards.
  • Execute data updates and modifications as part of frontline operational support.
  • Validate data replication between dual platforms and follow data lineage to ensure accuracy.
  • Run and interpret simple SQL queries using tools such as TOAD; leverage existing query libraries and schemas.
  • Support reporting functions and assist with data analysis tasks.
  • Maintain service and application alignment within the CSDM (Common Service Data Model) framework.
  • Understand relationships between applications, services, and dependencies (e.g., how an application supports online banking).
  • Collaborate with platform teams; perform updates within the interface under limited, non‑admin privileges.
  • Provide general ITIL‑aligned operational support.
  • Assist with service model and application inventory transitions as the organization moves away from legacy AIT structures.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Foundational SQL knowledge (simple queries, ability to understand schemas and data attributes).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to “connect the dots” across data sources.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Service Management, or Asset Management concepts.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Ability to learn quickly and ramp up in a complex environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive or ticket‑driven tasks (“ticket‑monkey‑esque” work at times).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow or Remedy platforms.
  • Exposure to CSDM or service modeling concepts.
  • Previous experience in a service desk or IT operations environment.
  • Knowledge of data lineage, replication processes, or data warehouse structures



Compensation:

Up to $45.77/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
