Job Title: Assembler Level II

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SU3 Assembler to join our team on the 3rd shift, working from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6:30am, with possible additional hours on Fridays. As an SU3 Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling sub-components and finished products, executing material processing, and utilizing both hand and power tools to build heat exchangers. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, lifting and fitting products together with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-components and finished products following detailed assembly diagrams.
  • Operate hand and power tools to build heat exchangers.
  • Utilize overhead cranes to move larger units efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill daily product orders.
  • Maintain a fast-paced production and assembly workflow.
  • Lift and fit products weighing 60lbs+ together using proper techniques.
  • Engage in physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret assembly diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with operating overhead cranes.
  • Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs+ independently.
  • Capability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, organized, and expansive manufacturing floor where all sections are clearly labeled based on materials and production. Shift options include First Shift (6AM - 2:30PM, with potential extension to 4:30PM) and Second Shift (2:15PM - 10:45PM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday hours from 12PM - 6PM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
