Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst (L2) to provide production support for legacy applications built on VB6 and C#/.NET technologies. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, resolving production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring application stability in a customer-facing support environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 support for VB6 and .NET-based business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, IIS, batch job, and deployment-related issues.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution within SLA timelines.
  • Support weekend/on-call activities and handle critical production incidents.
  • Coordinate with onsite, offshore, development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
  • Support releases, configuration changes, deployments, and production validations.
  • Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and handover notes.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in VB6, C#, and .NET application support.
  • Hands-on experience in production support/application maintenance projects.
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases, IIS, batch processing, and legacy application architecture.
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in an onsite–offshore support model.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to ITIL processes and monitoring tools.
  • Experience handling P1/P2 production incidents.
  • Knowledge of deployment and release support in legacy environments.

Preferred Background: IT Services / AMS / Application Support Projects.
