I’m currently partnering with a well-established, privately held organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that is seeking a Payroll/AP Manager to join their team.
This is a highly visible role responsible for owning the full payroll process while also overseeing accounts payable operations and process improvements. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll for 40+ employees
• Manage benefits administration, 401(k), HSA/FSA submissions, and payroll-related reporting
• Handle payroll journal entries, bonus accruals, W-2s, audits, and labor allocations
• Oversee AP operations, payment runs, vendor setup, positive pay, and 1099 preparation
• Drive process improvements and support special projects across accounting functions
