Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct Psychology instructor position at for the Fall 2026 semester.
Course Assignments:
PSY 2513 – Intro to Psychology MW 12:30-1:45 pm
This course will be conducted via Zoom, connecting students at the Pocahontas and Paragould locations. The instructor will be expected to teach from each campus at various times throughout the semester.
Responsibilities:
The instructor will be responsible for delivering course lectures in person, creating and assessing assignments, and submitting grades. This role involves teaching both college students and high school students enrolled through concurrent credit.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a valid, unencumbered registered nursing license in Arkansas or other compact state, with at least two years of experience in clinical nursing. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Previous educational experience in higher education preferred. Must possess current CPR certification; knowledge and skills related to teaching adults, teaching methodology, curriculum development, and evaluation. The faculty member must be willing to continue their education through on-going professional development.
