36600 Schoolcraft Road Livonia, MI 48150 734-432-5581/FAX 734 -432-5587 Position: ADJUNCT FACULTY MEMBER , PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM The Psychology Program at Madonna University, Livonia, Michigan (located between Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan) invites applications for adjunct positions as Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Assistant Professor (rank commensurate with experience) to teach courses in the undergraduate and/or graduate program . The Psychology Program at Madonna University offers a dynamic undergraduate curriculum designed to meet the diverse interests and career goals of students. With two distinct tracks —a General Psychology concentration and a Mental Health concentration —the program prepares students for both immediate entry into a variety of professional settings and for advanced study in graduate programs. The Master's Program, which graduates students who can obtain a limited license in clinical psychology in the state of Michigan, has been designed with a psychodynamic theoretical orientation. Rooted in a liberal arts tradition and grounded in Madonna University’s Franciscan values, the Psychology Program equips students with the scientific knowledge, critical thinking skills, and ethical understanding needed to address psychological challenges in today’s complex world. Qualifications: 1. At least a Master’s in Psychol ogy (Doctorate preferred for teaching courses at the Master’s level). 2. Previous classroom teaching experience and demonstrated teaching effectiveness . 3. Must be available to teach in -person day -time courses . 4. Must be comfortable utilizing the Blackboard Ultra Learning Management System Adjunct positions are filled on a semester -by-semester, as -needed basis. Review of applications will begin immediately.
