Job Description

Role Overview:
Execute and support validation testing for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving features. Responsibilities include vehicle-based testing, data collection/analysis, troubleshooting test equipment, coordinating with program leads, supporting hardware/software updates, developing test scenarios, and collaborating with global teams to standardize tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and support ADAS/Automated Driving test procedures

  • Collect, analyze, and report test data

  • Review and refine test plans for vehicle programs

  • Troubleshoot in-vehicle test equipment (GPS, robots, CAN tools)

  • Coordinate validation activities and maintain correct software levels

  • Conduct physical and virtual test scenario creation

  • Execute vehicle testing for correlation of virtual/physical results

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Familiarity with ADAS operation & digital communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet)

  • Experience with CAN logging tools (Canalyzer)

  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills

  • Vehicle testing experience in a hands-on environment

  • Valid driver’s license & clean record

  • Flexibility for day/night shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience or academic research in automotive engineering

  • Proficiency in vehicle networking (CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet)

  • Experience with ground truth sensors, camera systems, dGPS

  • Knowledge of FMEA, DVP&R, Lessons Learned

  • Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
