Accounts Receivable Specialist

Harmer is actively recruiting for multiple clients for Accounts Receivable Specialists. All qualified candidates considered. The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a critical role in managing invoicing, cash applications, collections, and AR close processes across all divisions. This position requires the ability to review detailed contracts and purchase orders, ensure billing accuracy, and maintain strong cross-functional communication both internally and externally.

• High School Diploma or GED
• B2B Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet applications
• Strong ability to review complex contracts and purchase orders
• Knowledge of AR procedures, credits, and collections
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Capable of multitasking and working independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead change, adapt to evolving priorities, and manage time effectively
• Experience training others in AR processes
• Familiarity with Letters of Credit and Lien Waiver preparation
• Ability to handle complex tasks with minimal supervision and escalate when necessary
