Location: St. Paul, MN (this is a HYBRID schedule requiring immediate and consistent time on-site in MN)

Pay Rate: $27-$34/hr

Overview:

We are partnering with a leading manufacturer headquartered in the Twin Cities, to support an Accounts Payable Specialist need. This is ideal for an AP professional who is detail-oriented, comfortable in a high-volume environment, and enjoys partnering cross-functionally within a collaborative accounting team. The team is looking for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership of day-to-day AP activities, and help support ongoing system initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices using a 3-way matching process (PO, invoice, receipt)
  • Validating invoice accuracy and ensuring proper approvals prior to posting
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining vendor records within JDE
  • Supporting weekly check runs and EFT payments, including manual check cutting and reconciliation
  • Reconciling vendor invoices and credit memos to supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Partnering closely with internal departments to research and resolve AP inquiries in a timely manner
  • Posting AP-related reclassifications and supporting controls within the ERP system
  • Educating internal users on AP processes to help prevent invalid or incomplete entries
  • Providing ad-hoc support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
  • Strong experience with 3-way matching and vendor statement reconciliations
  • ERP experience required within a similar system to SAP/D365/JDEdwards/etc.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with internal teams and vendors
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to step into a long-term contract role and contribute immediately
