Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounting Now is seeking a Bilingual Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing and well-established construction organization specializing in utility infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform 2-way matching of purchase orders and invoices
• Ensure proper coding, approvals, and documentation prior to payment processing
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding invoices
• Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, and wire transfers)
• Review and audit employee expense reports for policy compliance
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate records to support audit and compliance requirements
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities within the AP function
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
• Bilingual: Spanish/English
• Experience with ERP systems
• Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
