Accounting Manager, Systems Implementation

Well established Silicon Valley based investment firm with both financial investments and real estate is seeking a hands on Accounting Manager to be part of a team to oversee systems including leading a new system implementation, process improvements, with additional GL/Close, reporting and finance/cash management responsibilities.

This will be a high level sole contributor role to start with potential to move into a staff management role in the future. This role offer good work life balance and flexibility, and will be working onsite 3 days per week (Cal train accessible and paid parking onsite). Prior hands on experience at the Accounting Manager level is required, and since this role also oversees finance, this person must have an interest in learning that area or come in with prior experience.

Requirements:

• 8-15 years experience in corporate accounting at the Accounting Manager level in a hands on, doer role.
• Prior experience leading system implementations and process improvements is required.
• Strong experience with using systems to automate and create customized reports.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
• Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, V & X-Lookups, Sum Ifs, etc.)
• Prior staff management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
