Accounting Manager

Job title: Accounting Leader

Location: Simi Valley, CA

Bonus: 12.5%

Role Summary

Leads the Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) functions for a business unit/site. Responsible for accurate financial reporting, compliance (GAAP), process improvement, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AR & AP operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Oversee accounting transactions, reporting, and financial analysis
• Maintain internal controls, systems, and procedures
• Lead month-end/year-end closings, forecasts, and budgeting support
• Analyze financial data, identify issues, and implement improvements
• Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff
• Ensure alignment with corporate accounting policies and objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years AR/AP experience (mandatory)
• 3+ years in manufacturing (mandatory)
• Experience in aerospace industry (preferred/required as per note)
• People management experience
