Management company 3 Arts Entertainment is adding an Accounting Manager to our growing team. A successful fit will have experience with multi-entity structures, high attention to detail and sharp analysis skills. Our team is small; you will be exposed to all parts of the accounting process. This is a great opportunity for someone proactive to take initiative and help shape the department.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Manage quarterly close including distributions and forecasting in accordance with GAAP
- Manage AP and general ledger functions
- Oversee 1-2 direct reports, mentoring and reviewing work
- Approval of annual business filings including 1099s
- Oversight of tax filings and payments
- Collaborating with the AR team, oversight of software and mentoring
- Account reconciliation, daily/weekly accounting processes
- Reporting and analysis requests, quarterly and as needed
- Payroll processing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA not required
- 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with multi-entity structures and SOX compliance
- Some tax experience is preferred
- Payroll experience is preferred
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
