⭐ What You'll Lead
Month-End Close & GL Ownership
- Drive timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- Oversee and refine balance sheet reconciliations
- Address discrepancies at the root level — not just downstream cleanup
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a small team (~3)
- Create clarity, consistency, and confidence in day-to-day accounting operations
- Build a team that doesn’t rely on you to fix everything — but grows under your leadership
Accounting Operations & Compliance
- Direct GL, payroll, AP/AR, and cash management activities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Partner with auditors and maintain audit-ready documentation
Process Improvement & Scalability
- Reduce manual work and eliminate recurring issues
- Implement workflows designed to scale with a growing healthcare organization
- Leverage accounting systems (Great Plains or similar) to improve accuracy and efficiency

⭐ Must-Have Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience leading a small accounting team
- Strong experience in GL accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and payroll
- 8–10 years total experience in accounting, finance, or related functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
⭐ Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
- Salary: $110K + 10% bonus
- Schedule: Onsite for first 6 months; hybrid (3 days onsite) thereafter
