Job Summary

The Employee Coach works directly with business owners and high-performing professionals to drive execution, accountability, and performance.

This role is not about giving advice—it is about ensuring follow-through.

You will build trusted relationships while holding members accountable to their commitments, helping them execute consistently on agreed-upon priorities and goals.

You will not do the work for them—you will ensure the work gets done.

This position requires confidence, structure, and professional presence. You must be comfortable having direct conversations, addressing missed commitments, and maintaining high standards without damaging relationships.

This is a member-facing, in-person role requiring consistent engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned members
  • Lead structured, agenda-driven coaching sessions focused on execution and priorities
  • Track commitments, deadlines, and key action items
  • Ensure consistent follow-through through clear, direct communication
  • Identify recurring breakdowns (time management, delegation, leadership gaps, lack of execution)
  • Address missed commitments promptly and professionally
  • Challenge lack of follow-through when necessary, while maintaining trust
  • Reinforce organizational standards and expectations
  • Maintain detailed documentation of meetings, commitments, and outcomes
  • Monitor progress against defined goals and milestones
  • Escalate concerns when expectations are not being met
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment and follow-through
  • Support onboarding of new members and establish early accountability rhythms
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Role Scope & Boundaries

  • Focus exclusively on coaching, accountability, and performance support
  • Do not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advisory services
  • Do not execute work on behalf of members
  • Ensure members are prepared, aligned, and following through on commitments

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional experience in operations, client-facing roles, performance management, or coaching
  • Strong executive-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to hold others accountable respectfully and effectively
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships while maintaining structure and detail

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Operations Manager / Director of Operations
  • Practice Manager (medical, dental, or service-based)
  • Account Manager / Client Success (high-touch, performance-driven)
  • General Manager or former business owner

Who Thrives Here

This role is a strong fit for individuals who:

  • Are comfortable holding others accountable in a direct but professional way
  • Do not avoid hard conversations
  • Communicate confidently with experienced professionals
  • Think in terms of structure, priorities, and execution
  • Take ownership of outcomes—not just activity
  • Value consistency, discipline, and follow-through
  • Prefer in-person, structured environments

Not a Fit If

  • You prefer a purely supportive or motivational coaching role
  • You avoid direct or difficult conversations
  • You are looking for remote or flexible work arrangements
  • You prefer executing tasks rather than holding others accountable

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary + performance bonuses
  • 10 business days PTO (after 90 days)
  • 12 Health Days (1 per month)
  • 8 federal holidays
