Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Richmond, VA, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The Workers' Compensation Field Case Manager will oversee workers' compensation cases, manage claims, coordinate care plans, and liaise with insurance providers, employees, and employers. Key responsibilities include reviewing and handling claims, advocating for appropriate and timely care, ensuring compliance with protocols, and monitoring recovery progress to facilitate a return to work. The role involves frequent communication, collaboration, and adherence to insurance and medical guidelines to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Claims Management, Claims Handling, and Workers' Compensation Claims processing
• Knowledge of Insurance policies and procedures
• Skills in training and educating individuals on workers’ compensation processes and care coordination
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare coordination
• Valid nursing or case management certification is preferred
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and case tracking systems
