Job Description:
- Experienced Finance professional with deep operations knowledge and actionable business insight.
- Works independently against defined objectives, contributing to technical discussions and making the solution better.
- The manager is looking for a consultant who can be an implementation consultant for Workday Payroll and / or Symplr Workforce Time and Attendance or Kronos.
Requirements:
- Experience in dealing with Workday Payroll common paymaster setup.
- More than 4 years of experience in a full cycle implementation of Workday Payroll and or a Symplr / Workday Time and Attendance system.
- Expert in Payroll and Time & Attendance domain as a functional resource. Example : Proficient in payroll tax compliance, Wage and Hour laws , Overtime requirements etc.
- Good understanding of payroll data and reporting in Workday / Symplr time and attendance system.
- Experience with Functional Design, Configuration, Test case preparation, Test execution and remediation , end user training and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and should be able to represent the function with stakeholders.
- Experience creating test scripts, managing a Workday Change/Time & Attendance system (from start to finish).
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business problems and deliver solutions through applications, integration, and automation
- Participate in the full project lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and support
- Provide application technical expertise to address system gaps and recommend custom vs. outofthebox solutions
- Collaborate with third parties and internal teams to develop integration strategies and document solutions
- Support business projects through financial analysis, documentation, and training
- Translate complex business requirements into technical deliverables across a range of finance functions
- Maintain process documentation and provide mentorship to junior staff
- Stay current with industry trends through seminars and workshops
Required Skills & Experience:
- Four (4) seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or notforprofit environments
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management, payroll, time & attendance, and information systems
- Ability to lead technical requirements development and manage crossfunctional projects
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
