The Warehouse Management Software (WMS) Application Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, configuration, ongoing support, and optimization of Holman's Warehouse Management System and related enterprise platforms. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert for WMS operations, working in close coordination with warehouse operations leadership, Information Technology, external clients, and third-party software vendors.


The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong blend of technical proficiency and operational acumen, with the ability to translate complex system requirements into effective, scalable solutions. Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Configure, monitor, and administer Holman’s WMS software in accordance with established business requirements, operational standards, and industry best practices.

• Act as the primary point of coordination between warehouse operations, Information Technology, and software vendors on all WMS-related issues, enhancements, and scheduled updates.

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve WMS software incidents; maintain thorough records of all issues and corrective actions taken.

• Provide authoritative technical guidance and end-user support to WMS users and administrators across all company locations.

• Collaborate with operations leadership and client stakeholders to architect optimized system configurations during new client onboarding and process development initiatives.

• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of system integrations via EDI, VAN, AS2, Boomi and related connectivity protocols.

• Conduct routine performance analysis of WMS systems, ensuring consistent availability, reliability, and responsiveness.

• Develop and deliver training programs for WMS end-users and administrators; provide ongoing supervisory guidance as appropriate.

• Maintain comprehensive and current WMS documentation, system manuals, and operational procedures.

• Manage the testing and deployment of software upgrades, patches, and enhancements in alignment with change management protocols.

• Identify and implement system improvements and optimizations to support continuous operational improvement.

• Adhere to IT department change management, security, and access provisioning protocols for all system modifications, user access changes, and environment updates.

• Coordinate with the IT Director on all vendor and consultant engagements related to WMS, including scope of work approvals, invoice review, and relationship management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience:

Minimum two years’ administration/management experience with Highjump (Infios/Korber) E3PL or comparable warehouse management software in a multi-client 3PL environment. Direct Highjump experience strongly preferred.

Other Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Proficiency with SQL reporting.

Experience with EDI mapping is a bonus.

Experience with Boomi is a bonus.

Experience with REST Web Services/API calls is a bonus.
